Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SewaPe mobile applications (SewaPe Customer App, SewaPe Captain App) and website at https://sewape.com provided by Maya Bai Lodhi Foundation / SewaPe Mobility Solutions.

1. User Account Registration

To use our services, you must register using a valid mobile phone number and verify it via One-Time Password (OTP). You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information and keep your credentials confidential.

2. Services Offered

SewaPe is a technology platform connecting passengers seeking on-demand local ride transport with verified independent commercial driver partners ("Captains"). SewaPe acts as an intermediary technology aggregator.

3. Captain / Driver Partner Obligations

• Captains must possess a valid Indian Driving License, commercial fitness, insurance, and vehicle registration.
• Captains agree to maintain active background location permissions while on duty to receive ride assignments accurately.
• Captains must operate with professionalism and follow all local motor vehicle laws and traffic regulations.

4. Passenger / Customer Obligations

• Passengers agree to treat Captains with courtesy and respect during every ride.
• Fares must be paid promptly at the completion of each ride using cash, UPI, or through our authorized payment system.
• Passengers must not request transport of illegal substances, hazardous cargo, or violate any Indian municipal laws.

5. Fare Calculation & Payments

Fares are calculated automatically based on distance, duration, vehicle category (Bike, Auto, Cab), and baseline service charges. All transactions comply with RBI standards and applicable tax deductions.

6. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, submit fraudulent documents, or participate in abusive behavior toward users or captains. Users may also request voluntary account deletion at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

SewaPe facilitates connections between riders and drivers. While we strive to ensure safety and quality, SewaPe is not liable for indirect or accidental damages resulting from road conditions or unauthorized actions of third parties, to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law.
